I saw this today on the Grosvenor Square Memorial Garden in London. The Garden commemorates the thousands murdered on September 11, 2001, in the US. It's a profound message contained in just a few words and probably sums up the ultimate tragedy of existence: love leads to pain and the better the love the greater the pain.
Is it, then, better not to love?
